Nope—we’re not a moving company. We rent reusable moving boxes to make your move easier and more eco-friendly. You do the heavy lifting (or hire a mover), and we take care of the boxes! Need help moving? We work with trusted local moving partners and are happy to recommend someone.

Each Big Purple Box holds 76 litres—great for packing items like books, kitchenware, clothes, and more. They’re stackable when full and nest-able when empty, making them easy to store and super efficient for moving.

You tell us where to drop them, and we deliver the boxes stacked and ready to go. When your rental is up, we come back and pick them up—easy as that! Need them dropped off at one address and picked up from another? No problem—just let us know when booking.

Our linen bags are sturdy, tear-resistant bags made from heavy-weight polyester—built to last! Each one features a drawstring with a self-locking closure, making them easy to use. They're perfect for bedding, blankets, pillows, and other bulky items that don’t fit well in a box (some couch cushions will fit too). Size: 30" x 40".

If there’s severe weather, unexpected delays, or any situation beyond your or Big Purple Box’s control, we’ll contact you ASAP to reschedule pickup or delivery. Any rescheduling due to these uncontrollable events will be at no extra cost to you.

It may be possible to do a rental outside our service area, but sometimes it might not be. For specific cases, please reach out to our team so we can find the best solution for you. And remember, there’s always the option to purchase the boxes if you want to keep them long-term or need them where you’re moving!

Yes! We wipe down all boxes with sanitizer between rentals, and if extra cleaning is needed, we handle that on a case-by-case basis to ensure your boxes are fresh and ready to use
